How does this name feel?

Clotho wanted to say that it was very fitting. In her eyes, the world had given birth to all things, so everything in existence truly did bear some innate debt.

It was just that the gods could wield the laws, and their existence was closer to the source of the world.

Thus, in many cases, their very existence was itself a way of repaying what they owed.

Under such circumstances, even if the world had long since been destroyed, the essence of the gods could still bear certain things.

That was why the gods had never cared about this kind of "debt."

There was nothing frightening about bearing the "Original Sin" inherited from the Creator. After all, they would not be held accountable.

However, the non-divine beings were different.

When the world was still intact, they were just like the gods. As long as they peacefully obeyed Fate's arrangements and played their part in the world's operation, that was enough.

But once the world itself began an unstoppable collapse... that innate "Original Sin" would begin harvesting their lives.
