"Why haven't you come down yet? It's already half past six."
The spider pendant hanging on Yu Jing's chest showed no abnormalities, indicating that Li Lingna wasn't in any life-threatening danger. Something must have delayed her.
Carrying his schoolbag, Yu Jing returned to the Commissioner's Office on the second floor. He found that Li Lingna's handbag was still inside, but she was nowhere to be seen. Following the trace of her aura, Yu Jing arrived outside the Dean's office.

Yu Jing quietly pressed his palm against the keyhole and used plant roots to unlock the door.
Yu Jing pushed the door open a crack and peered inside.

Yu Jing interrupted the secret conversation in the Dean's office with a single sentence.
When the middle-aged commissioner saw Yu Jing causing trouble again, anger surged through him. "The commissioners are in a meeting. What are you, a disciple, doing here? You didn't even knock! Come to my office tomorrow! Get lost..."
He lowered his voice on the final word, since it wouldn't be good for Li Lingna to hear him.
When the middle-aged man forcefully pushed the door, Yu Jing braced himself against it from outside. He cleverly took out his phone and repeatedly photographed the man and the scene inside the Dean's office, while loudly saying:
"Commissioners should be meeting in a dedicated office, right?
