After reaping the Velvey Star Pirate Group and the Altar of the Liberation Society in the asteroid belt, Gao Gong had no intention of stirring up any more trouble. Every day, he flirted sweetly with Rich Lady Du, scattering dog food everywhere.
Meanwhile, the players far away on the frontier of the asteroid belt were constantly expanding outward under the guidance of the star pirates.
These interstellar bandits had finally realized that there were people in this world even more ruthless than they were.
For example, some people tied themselves to a ship's catapult just for fun, launching their bodies like light bullets into the depths of space. Others dared to race spaceships through meteorite belts after only a few practice runs.
At least half of the dozens of small ships left behind by the Velvey Star Pirate Group had been destroyed, with both ships and crews lost, in the hands of the players.
So after being approached by the players, these star pirates—who usually drank by the bowl and ate by the mouthful—became unusually cautious. How could they dare point fingers at these "madmen" anymore?
What if they got angry and took them down with them?
From the players' perspective, however, it was another matter entirely—
Quite a few players had disliked these ugly, vicious star pirates at first.
For the Fourth Calamity, how painful was it to see an enemy with a health bar and not chop them down?
But they soon stopped feeling that way.
Because these star pirates gave out quests.
"Small Star Shuttle Piloting," "Basic Starship Piloting," "Antigravity Combat Techniques," "Shrek Knife Techniques (Incomplete)"...
The star pirates' abundant experience surviving in space made up for the most glaring deficiency of these planet-bound bumpkins—the players.
This was basically map guidance.
