The High Craftsman had not left Old Gaite hanging.
Although he was in the main cabin of the star destroyer, his true body had long since left this space and entered the interior of the "Cosmic Relic."
It was a special dimension made up of spatial threads and temporal boxes.
"Won't entering your true body alert that Collector?" the High Craftsman asked.
The Deep Web lazily lay atop a pile of boxes. Her body was now unimaginably huge, boundless and endless, as if limitless technological evolution were being born across her form.
"No. I can sense that fellow's true body to some extent. He's a similar kind of existence to me, but his authority is incomplete."
"You mean he's also a Cosmic Relic?" The High Craftsman grew interested. He was still quite curious about the mysterious Collector.
The Deep Web yawned, revealing snow-white ridges, and said lazily:
"He may be part of some ancient existence, but he isn't one of us. He has properties similar to those of a Cosmic Relic, but he lacks a stable form. That's also why he can't wield powerful forces."
Hearing that the Collector was not a Cosmic Relic, the High Craftsman lost interest in his true body. The universe was not lacking in beings that were exceptionally ancient yet exceptionally useless. If age were linked to strength, the current universe would not be in the age of civilizations. After all, the Ancient Machine Elder had existed for far longer than those two Level Nine mechanical civilizations, yet that old bastard was only a Level Seven civilization. He was already one of the outstanding figures among the ancients.
What interested him was the structure before him.
