Before the 'Lolita Mainframe' came aboard, Gao Gong hadn't recognized her.
The small players brought back all sorts of bizarre things from the cosmic black market—alien pets they'd bought, black-market weapons they'd acquired, and even alien species' poop to use as toys.
Gao Gong had no interest in inspecting everything one by one. He merely had the exterminator battleship's internal screening system eliminate anything capable of threatening it.
Naturally, it hadn't detected her.
This wasn't because the planetary mainframe was capable of evading the exterminator battleship's screening. No matter how powerful a planetary mainframe was, it was still only a Tier 3 building, while the exterminator battleship was a full tier higher.
The true reason she had slipped in was that she possessed the power of the 'Mechanical Revolution.'
This power was bizarre and formidable. It was one of the few forces capable of crossing tiers and interfering with higher-level existences—as long as they were both mechanical constructs.
In particular, the 'Revolution' she possessed was the Second Mechanical Revolution, the one best at interfering with mechanical species among all the Mechanical Revolutions.
The Intelligent Machine Crisis!
Once technology developed to a certain point, a Mechanical Revolution would inevitably occur.
In a sense, this was the true source of mechanical species' strength.
It didn't matter whether you were a carbon-based life-form, an energy species, or an information life-form. If you couldn't resolve the 'Mechanical Revolution,' all your technological and civilizational legacies would be seized by mechanical species.
Among the four great civilization systems of the universe, only mechanical life-forms were companion species. Naturally born mechanical civilizations were exceedingly rare.
And as the technology tree lit up through different stages, the Mechanical Revolutions that emerged would also differ.
