The letter weighed heavily on Soren.

Stripped down, everything in it came to one thing: Princess Anna had left the choice to Soren. If he agreed to her marrying the Second Prince of the Kingdom of Falcon, she would marry him. But if Soren objected, she absolutely would not.

The choice was entirely in Soren's hands. Princess Anna would do whatever he said.

What kind of joke was that?

How could Soren possibly agree to Princess Anna marrying that damned Second Prince of the Kingdom of Falcon?

Soren's feelings for Princess Anna had always been complicated. There was something romantic about them, yet at times she felt like another younger sister. The Princess was like another version of Soren himself, and she often treated Princess Anna the way he treated Vivian. Sometimes Soren had no idea what to make of his relationship with Princess Anna. But one thing was certain: she was among the very few people he truly cared about.

She came second only to Vivian and Goria in his heart, even ranking above the Fallen Witch!
