The second phase of terraced fields in Port Nyanzaru was almost finished. After receiving a shipment of materials, the Golem Factory produced another five clay golems and one stone golem. All of them were put to work on construction. They could easily carry heavy supplies, making them many times more efficient than human laborers. The Fallen Witch and Goria had recently thrown themselves into intensive research. Soren had left a Spatial Beacon on the third layer of The Abyss, and they planned to join forces again soon to build an extraplanar portal leading straight there.
Orders placed with the North Council had increased again.
No one knew what Port Nyanzaru was planning, but it had already ordered three batches of heavy two-handed weapons.

As summer gave way to autumn, heavy rain fell across the land. Flooding seemed to have struck the Central Continent, and the lizardfolk followed the floodwaters to expand their territory once more, occupying many of the submerged areas. The south, however, remained relatively peaceful. Aside from occasional traces of the fallen, the only incident of note was a recent sighting of a legendary lich.
Liches rarely walked the world.
As the highest order of undead beings, they had endless years to squander. Their favorite pastime was to hole up in their tomb lairs and conduct research.
