The once-smooth paved roads had all but turned into muddy tracks, as there was not enough money to repair them. In this once-thriving city, many crumbling buildings still stood amid the broken walls left by the fire.
At night, near the Potter's Field, the weeping of ghosts could be heard from far away.
Too many innocent people had died in Amber City that night. Some of their wraiths still lingered in the mortal world, wandering near the Potter's Field where Soren had first discovered the treasure cave.
