Gate of the Jungle

Misty Forest.

This was a vast, sprawling primeval forest, with similar places like Cormanthor. Both of these areas were habitats for special creatures. Soren's current location was filled with intertwined ancient trees everywhere, and the branches of the trunk right before his eyes formed the shape of a gate. It looked completely ordinary, but stepping inside revealed an entirely different world.

This place was called the [Gate of the Jungle].

It was a gift left behind by the Nature Pantheon, and also a world jointly cultivated by treants.

Or rather, this place was an independent demiplane—a special demiplane established on the Material Plane, connected to the Elemental Plane, and rooted in the Misty Forest. This was near the central zone of the Misty Forest. The surrounding fog would affect the minds of outsiders and even cause high-tier professionals to hallucinate. Usually, very few people could ever reach this place. Soren had also come here on this trip by the way, to see if he could fish out some special benefits.

The Gate of the Jungle was a special demiplane.

Its existence depended upon the rhizome of a massive ancient tree. This ancient tree, whose age was impossible to estimate, had already died, but its rhizome still retained a massive amount of power, so the Nature Guardian had transformed this place into an independent demiplane. Even a Feral Druid had to obtain the collective consent of the High Council members to enter it. Because this was the resting place of many treants, a tremendous secret was still concealed within the interior of the Gate of the Jungle.

This was a legendary large-scale dungeon back in the day.

The so-called dungeons were actually just the adventurers' term for them. Many things in this world were unreplicable, and the concept of a "dungeon"
