Silver Moon's fall! Third update

Beneath the dim moonlight.

Soren left the unassuming inn. Outside, all was quiet now, save for the occasional bark of a dog.

He had reached an agreement with the Warden.

Although the Warden could not understand why Soren could wield the Holy Avenger, he had decided to make a deal with him to fully restore the artifact's power. The Warden was not one of those stubborn paladins. After the Time of Troubles erupted, he quickly became one of the leaders of the paladin organization known as the Holy Avengers. Anyone capable of rising to prominence during the Time of Troubles had to possess something that set him apart from other paladins. The paladins he had trained were proof enough: they were clearly more rational and composed.

The moonlight grew dimmer still.

After the Goddess of Magic fell to the mortal realm, tonight's moonlight had suddenly grown dull and lifeless. The moon looked hazy, as though a shadow had spread across its face.

Soren was not sure whether the [Lady of Silver Moon] had fallen from the heavens, but she was a central figure in the outbreak of the Time of Troubles.

She was one of the oldest goddesses and had once been one of the most powerful.
