Deep within the Multiverse.

A speck of light suddenly appeared in the almost boundless band of light of the Astral Plane. Compared to those twinkling stars, this speck of light was utterly insignificant. Yet as this speck of light gradually took the shape of a door, a subtle and wondrous change occurred across the entire Multiverse. This door resembled a thread, instantly connecting to numerous planes of the Multiverse, reaching up to Mount Celestia and the Garden of Eden, and down to the Abyss, Hell, and Ysgard. This door seemed to open a boundary, linking the vast majority of spaces in the Multiverse.

Finally out.

A figure entirely shrouded in pitch-black robes walked out from within the door. He possessed terrifyingly powerful magic, so much so that the space around him was pulled, forming a startling vortex of energy. The figure slowly extended a palm, revealing pale, bony fingers adorned with invaluable gem rings.

Fingers without flesh and blood.

This was a lich, and a remarkably powerful one at that.

The lich stood within the void of the Astral Plane, as if he had not felt everything before him for a very long time. After lingering in place for a long, long time, he finally spoke slowly in a slightly hoarse voice, The Lady has finally opened the gates.

I wonder what the world has become now.
