Creating a Demiplane was not something that could be done overnight.

After stabilizing the connections to the Four Elemental Planes, Soren and Goria returned to Port Nyanzaru. The Demiplane was not much use yet, and Goria could only use it for storage. It would not truly come into its own until she developed it into an Extraplanar Stronghold. Many Legendary Wizards chose not to remain on the Material Plane. Instead, they built their Demiplanes into enormous Extraplanar Spheres and traveled the boundless Multiverse.

That reminded Soren of an important report recently sent back from the Wizard Union in the south.

It had been about three days ago.

A strange tremor had shaken Wizard City. Then an enormous spherical structure had suddenly appeared near its northwestern wall.

An Archmage from three hundred years ago had returned to the Material Plane!

Port Nyanzaru's intelligence network in Wizard City was still weak, and its sources were limited, so the report Soren received was rather vague.

All he could confirm was that it was an enormous Extraplanar Stronghold.

Its master was an Astral Explorer, an Archmage who had held one of Wizard City's three ruling seats three hundred years ago. After reaching High-tier Legendary, he had spent his life's fortune transforming his Demiplane into a vast Extraplanar Stronghold, then set out on a journey through the Astral Plane.

That journey had lasted three hundred years.

During that time, Wizard City had lost all contact with the Archmage. No one knew which corner of the Astral Plane he had reached.

After all, a Demiplane developed into an Extraplanar Stronghold was effectively a small Floating City.
