Inside the Shadow Plane Laboratory of Port Nyanzaru, the Fallen Witch gazed excitedly at the enormous energy furnace before her. Built entirely from silvery-white metal and strange crystals, it was surrounded by a ring of pale violet light. Energy transmission crystals connected it to the hub outside, and it occupied nearly a square kilometer. Its energy conduits led directly to Port Nyanzaru's second Laboratory. Now that she had finished assembling the Elemental Furnace, she seemed unable to wait any longer and activated a transmission node.
"Once the energy transmission is stable, we can activate the Golem Legion."
The Fallen Witch murmured to herself. As she activated one of the energy transmission nodes, the pale violet light immediately brightened. Much of the relevant knowledge had been lost, so she could only guide the energy herself during testing. She directed the test energy into the Magic Lamp circuits that kept Port Nyanzaru running.
The next moment.
Every Crystal Lamp installed in Port Nyanzaru suddenly blazed with light. It lasted only a few seconds before their internal components began exploding, one after another.
The chain reaction reached all the way to the lighthouse at Port Nyanzaru.
"Huh?"
The Fallen Witch froze for a moment, then murmured, "An energy frequency overload? The Elemental Furnace's output actually exceeded the Magic Lamps' capacity?"
She had channeled only a tiny trickle of energy, yet, to her surprise, it had blown out every Magic Lamp in Port Nyanzaru.
The loss was not particularly serious.
