The mythal was the most important part of the Floating Tower, because the tower was linked to the interior of the War Chess Demiplane. If an incompatibility arose, the consequences would be complicated, and the time required would multiply. But if the mythal had no problems, a few minor adjustments would allow them to transfer the Floating Tower directly to the Material Plane.

Soren also breathed a sigh of relief, then raised his hand and opened a gateway, stepping straight into the War Chess Demiplane.
As he gained the highest level of access within the Arcane Tower, access to the War Chess Plane had opened up accordingly. Unfortunately, Soren's knowledge of arcane magic was insufficient to unravel this plane's mysteries. The third layer was water.
The fourth layer was fire.
The fifth layer was light.
The sixth layer was darkness.
The seventh layer was the Elemental Pool, linked to the Four Elemental Planes while also maintaining passages to the Upper Planes and Lower Planes.
