Thus, Soren absorbed the power of these three portfolios with ease. The rogue portfolio merged directly into his own, since thieves were a basic class within the broader rogue category. As for the theft portfolio, it was purely an extension domain, so merging it posed no difficulty whatsoever.
Next came the Lord of Shadows' domain powers.
As a cunning deity, the Lord of Shadows had always been stealing the powers of other domains.
Why had the Lady of Night wanted to kill him?
Not merely because the Lord of Shadows possessed the [Shadows] portfolio, but more importantly because he also possessed the [Darkness] domain.
Then why had the Spider Queen also set her sights on the Lord of Shadows?
The reason was simple.
Besides the [Darkness] domain, the Lord of Shadows also possessed the [Trickery] and [Luck] domains.
