A sacred radiance enveloped all of Port Nyanzaru.
Soren's advancement to [medium divinity] caused an enormous stir, perhaps even greater than his ascension to godhood, because the power of medium divinity was already enough to affect an entire nation. At the port, the Goddess of Wealth appeared once again. This time, her avatar of deity was more substantial. Perhaps it was because Soren had killed her enemy, the Lord of Shadows, or perhaps it was because his power was already close to catching up with hers. The Lady of Fortune's avatar appeared in person to congratulate Soren on advancing to medium divinity. The Goddess of the Sea was not slow to appear either. Port Nyanzaru was one of her important centers for spreading her faith, and she likewise appeared to congratulate Soren on his advancement.
Beyond the Material Plane.
As Soren's divine power fluctuated, the half-elf realm in the Upper Planes began to sink slowly. Before Soren's ascension to godhood, this realm had already fallen once because of the death of the former God of Half-Elves and Rogues. Although Soren's power had temporarily stabilized it afterward, it was already close to the boundary of the Upper Planes. Now that Soren had made [shadows] his primary portfolio, the laws governing deities within the multiverse dictated that his realm should lie close to the Shadow Plane.
At present.
As Soren advanced to medium divinity, the entire half-elf God's Realm was gradually descending toward the Shadow Plane. Its descent would be relatively slow, but it would reach the Shadow Plane within half a year at most.
When that time came.
Soren would take possession of both the Lord of Shadows' God's Realm and the half-elf God's Realm. How to merge those two realms would then become a problem he had to face.
