Soren had been extremely busy lately. He had to keep an eye on the team of legendary adventurers he had recently dispatched, study various epic spells, and investigate the mysteries of the War Chess Plane. Meanwhile, the messages from his Demon Avatar in the Abyss distracted him a little, too. If that high-ranking succubus really was the Succubus Queen, there would be a great deal he needed to watch out for. Still, it seemed he had never enjoyed a proper rest from the very beginning. He had been busy ever since Amber City, with hardly a taste of the leisurely life other transmigrators enjoyed.
If he made it safely through the Time of Troubles, Soren might choose to relax for a while.
He would think about nothing at all.
As a deity, he would spend a few years enjoying a blissful, shamelessly indulgent life, finally easing the nerves that had been stretched taut for far too long.
For now, however, all of that was still just wishful thinking!
The third phase of Port Nyanzaru's renovation was proceeding at full speed. This phase, however, focused more on the underground infrastructure—namely, Port Nyanzaru's ley line network.
All the ordinary citizens saw was that cement roads had been laid in many parts of Port Nyanzaru.
There was no denying that cement was useful. It could be used to build roads and houses alike. Its only drawbacks were that it was not as sturdy as the spell Transmute Mud to Rock, and Port Nyanzaru had never managed to raise its output.
There was nothing to be done about that.
Although Port Nyanzaru had quite a few spellcasters and sophisticated alchemy, the Material Plane as a whole remained at a late-medieval level. At best, even organizations such as Wizard
