The First Princess was Arun Dell's acclaimed female heir and had effectively held power since the age of twelve. Her authority and prestige within the kingdom surpassed those of many historical monarchs, while some of her subjects worshipped her as a god even before her consecration. 147 445

When followers of the Flaying Maiden abducted Princess Anna, the First Princess intervened through an ice-and-snow avatar. She froze Anna's pursuers and attempted to confront the chosen of the Flaying Maiden, but the enemy forced her to choose between pursuing Anna's rescue and containing winter's deadly spread through Arendelle. 143

Soon afterward, the Winter Maiden appeared in Arendelle to reclaim the power within her. The First Princess fought the deity using avatars, ice-based spatial movement, and an immense Ice Fortress formed across the frozen sea. 147

After reuniting with Anna and Soren, she brought them through an ice-and-snow Teleportation Gate to Arendelle Castle. Although she rewarded Soren for rescuing Anna, she ordered him away because she sensed the fear, misfortune, bloodshed, and danger surrounding him. 159 160
