In the dim surroundings, the Calamity Swords followed behind Josh, moving forward as faint echoes of footsteps rang out.
But Fuse pushed through the crowd and came to Ricky.
"Wait," Fuse said, puzzled, looking at Tales, whom Marina was holding hostage beside her. "Are you taking him down there?"
"You know, we can wait here for you, right?"
Tales frowned. He noticed that quite a few Mercenaries had begun to close in around them.
Ricky turned his head and glanced at Fuse.
"You did well. You saved us a lot of trouble, Fuse."
He pressed down on Fuse's shoulder. "But I also know that the reason you've been so cooperative and put in so much effort is entirely because of the hostage in our hands."
Fuse's expression stiffened.
"If the situation were different, that might not be the case."
"Now, you can choose to come down with us, or stay here and wait for me."
Ricky ignored Fuse's ugly expression. He waved his hand and continued forward.
Semir passed by Fuse and snorted disdainfully.
Watching from the side, Tales hoped Fuse would show some backbone.
Unfortunately, Fuse still said nothing. He merely made a gesture, then followed down with several inconspicuously dressed Shadow Assassins.
And so, Tales was escorted onward by the swarms of Calamity Swords.
As they went farther and farther, the Calamity Swords spread out more and more, and many prisoners noticed the intruders.
Patrolling guards also occasionally encountered the invading Calamity Swords. The unfortunate guards usually died after a fierce struggle, overwhelmed by numbers.
Bone Prison gradually grew restless. The chaos was beyond anything Tales could have imagined:
"That guard boy coming from over there... Yes, you! Let me tell you, I've made a fortune reselling weapons these past few years. Most of them were things they
