Cao Pi, Cao Zhi, Cao Zhang, and the others all cried out in astonishment:

"How is that possible?!"

Once Cao Mengde saw that Cao Pi, Cao Zhi, Cao Zhang, and the others had quieted down, he said:

"That is simply the truth. That's why I hope you will study and practice martial arts harder and take them more seriously. You should know that the Upper God was renowned throughout the world for being all-rounded from the very beginning. I don't expect you to become all-rounded kings. I only hope that you can achieve something in both literature and martial arts.

"Especially in martial prowess.

"You must become strong! Only then will you be able to leap out of this fish-pond world and travel to higher-level worlds and even broader realms..."

Cao Mengde spoke slowly.

He told Cao Zhi, Cao Pi, and the others some of the secrets he knew.

In Cao Mengde's view,

Cao Pi was already over ten years old, Cao Zhang was seven or eight, and Cao Zhi was five or six...

They were no longer little children, especially Cao Pi, who had reached the age when he should understand such matters.

Therefore, Cao Mengde had chosen this appropriate moment to reveal some of the secrets and hoped that his sons could break out of their confines and transcend this world.

"Then what about you, Father?"

"I'll also cultivate diligently and strive to transcend this world. As for the throne? When the time comes, I'll follow the Upper God's example and choose someone capable and responsible to become emperor. Compared to immortality, wealth and glory are nothing more than
