"Miss Su, I never expected your German to be so good. If not for your appearance, which is unlike that of someone from my country, I would have thought you were German just from hearing you speak."
"And you're truly remarkable. You even understand all my latest textile machines so well."
Su Qiao smiled modestly. "It's not as exaggerated as you make it sound. I just read a few more books and did a little research."
Andrei gazed at her mysterious phoenix eyes, his heart pounding.
He had always been decisive and swift. He immediately extended an invitation. "Miss Su, you're far too modest. To thank you, I'd like to invite you to dinner. Would that be all right?"
Su Qiao looked apologetic. "I'm sorry, Andrei, but I have something to take care of today, so I can't have dinner with you."
Andrei was not discouraged in the slightest. "Are you free tomorrow, then?"
Just as Su Qiao hesitated, a navy-blue figure appeared at the door.
Su Qiao rose in surprise. "What brings you here?"
Zhang Jingyu glanced at her, then gave Andrei and Gu Junting a slight nod. "Mr. Andrei, President Gu."
"Chairman Zhang." Andrei greeted him in a somewhat strange accent.
Gu Junting had not expected Zhang Jingyu to come in person. He hurriedly stood up. "Chairman Zhang, the instruction manual has already been translated. I was just about to contact you."
Su Qiao looked between them twice. "You all know each other?"
Zhang Jingyu nodded slightly, his gaze gentle. "One of the textile factories under the chamber of commerce recently purchased a batch of new machinery from him."
Su Qiao stared in surprise and pointed at the freshly translated manuscript on the table. "So this instruction manual belongs to a textile factory under your chamber of commerce?"
