The most perilous encounter came when the Star Shuttle was traversing space. They ran into a battle between a Deep Blue-level incarnation of an Evil God and another squad, and the shockwaves of the battle forcibly knocked the Star Shuttle out of its spatial transit.

That squad had even intended to redirect the disaster toward them. Fortunately, Ling Sheng's attainments in the Great Dao of Space were extremely high, with a compatibility of sixty percent. By driving the Star Shuttle at full power, he endured the spatial turbulence and traversed away from the battlefield.

Afterward, they heard the news that a squad called "Hengfeng" had been wiped out to the last man.

Although that squad had the same number of top-tier Golden Immortals as Gu Jinlai and the others—only three—it had another nine members, five of whom were renowned even among Golden Immortals, rather than being unknown nobodies.

Yet such a squad had been devoured in its entirety by a Deep Blue Evil God incarnation. When the news spread, three squads that had gone out to hunt Evil Gods chose to change missions for a time, switching from combat operations to defensive support.
