Xiao Lin is the son of Flame Emperor Xiao Yan and the younger brother of Xiao Xiao. Gu Xun Er is identified as his mother, while Cai Lin is also one of the two mothers in their household. Despite his formidable cultivation, he is frequently intimidated or directed by his elder sister 77 169.
He became close to Ye Kong after Ye Kong came to the Endless Fire Domain to discuss business with him. When Xiao Xiao's actions helped draw Ye Kong into a conflict with the Phoenix Tribe, Xiao Lin defended Ye Kong and acknowledged their share of the blame. Xiao Lin is loyal to both his sister and Ye Kong, though that loyalty becomes difficult to reconcile when their relationship deteriorates. He initially praises Ye Kong's character and stands up to Xiao Xiao on his behalf. Later, his concern for his sister leads him to pressure Ye Kong to protect and marry her 68 69 202 236.
