"Warriors of the Great Prairie! Charge!"
Amur raised his saber and charged at the very front.
Although the humans had inflicted heavy casualties on the archers in an incomprehensible manner, the desperadoes under his command remained fierce. Led by their officers, they strode forward, howling as they launched their charge.
The orcs in heavy armor trampled down the slope. Even the humans behind the breastwork could faintly feel the ground trembling.
Behind the Arda soldiers stood soldiers from the other kingdoms, spears in hand. They had yet to recover from the shock of what they had just witnessed.
The orcs' archery was vicious and accurate, and had once left an indelible impression of terror on them.
In the battles before this, no matter how orderly their formations were, they had been torn apart by wave after wave of arrows.
But now, those terrifying archers seemed to have met their nemesis.
It was a weapon the northwesterns called artillery. It spat terrifying tongues of flame forward, and those devilish brutes fell in swathes, lying on the ground and wailing without end.
But the armored orcs were charging again. Would the northwesters' weapons still work? "Fire!"
As tongues of flame spewed forth and explosions rang out, countless gray-white flowers blossomed before the breastwork. In moments, they formed a wall of smoke that obscured the entire front of Silver Moon Fort.
The orcs who had charged within a hundred meters were met by the Arlda Army's first salvo of gunfire and were instantly sent sprawling.
Their sturdy armor failed to perform as expected. Before the rapidly flying lead bullets, it was torn open as easily as fragile cloth.
Clusters of blood mist burst from the powerful bodies the orcs took pride in, and then the tremendous kinetic force knocked them to the ground.
