Evil Demons were not adept at managing affairs. Apart from a small number of High-ranking Demonic Evils, most low- and mid-ranking Evil Demons were constrained by their chaotic Demonic Evil Origins. Each one lived only for the moment, forgetting what came before and ignoring what came after, caring only for the pleasure of the present instant. They simply could not be gathered together and forced to undertake any planned, long-term endeavor.

Evil Demons were chaos, and they were freedom. Chaos could not be controlled, freedom could not be restrained. They completely let themselves go, displaying the value of the self to the utmost. Yet such ultimate freedom and chaos naturally could not form the collective strength that required sacrificing a portion of oneself.

It was precisely because Evil Demons were mostly a heap of loose sand, unable to pool their strength, that living beings had been given room and time to catch their breath in ancient times and scrape out an existence in the present age.

But there were exceptions among Evil Demons. The Demonic Buddha, for instance, could use the Merit Great Dao it had stolen from the Buddhist Sect to forcibly brainwash the Evil Demons, gaining the ability to unite them for great undertakings. Though it still could not match living beings, whose various races and sects played to their respective strengths, compensated for one another's flaws, formed unions of the strong, and developed excellent, seamless coordination over countless years, it was still far better than their former way of acting separately and rushing forward in a chaotic swarm whenever battle began.
