Guanyin Reveals Herself

Master Wen Duo, renowned throughout Chang'an City and indeed the entire realm, had clearly been left speechless by the debate.

This was an immense honor for Golden Mountain Temple. From this day forth, Golden Mountain Temple would become the Protect the Country Temple personally appointed by Your Majesty, receive royal incense offerings, and become the foremost sect of the Buddhist School within Great Tang.

Even old Chancellor Yin Kaishan, seated atop the city walls, was so excited that his face had flushed.

That Grandmaster watched by tens of thousands was his own grandson. Though it was Xuanzang's glory, he was extraordinarily thrilled—more excited even than on the day he had been enfeoffed after the founding of the Li Tang Dynasty.

Chen Guangrui and Yin Wenjiao had both risen to their feet in excitement, and Yin Wenjiao even shed tears of joy.

Ordinarily, this would have been improper conduct before the emperor, but given the circumstances, no one paid it any mind.
