When the spearpoint that made even a dragon's scalp crawl stabbed toward him, Bronze Dragon Lord Fabrio spat out a Gale Breath in the nick of time.
Then, following his survival instinct, he hurled Mist Technique, Ice Spike Technique, Repulsion Technique, Wind Scythe Technique, and the rest all at Red Dragon Yayin and Pantheon.
Unexpectedly, these chaotic magical attacks produced surprisingly good results through a twist of fate.
The Gale Breath spread the range of the Mist Technique, conveniently pushing Red Dragon Yayin and Pantheon into the mist together. The Repulsion Technique happened to deflect Red Dragon Yayin's breath, while the Ice Spike Technique, Wind Scythe Technique, and other offensive spells struck Red Dragon Yayin as the mist gathered.
That frantic series of actions instead left Red Dragon Yayin seriously wounded. Its left wing had been torn open by the wind scythe, and an ice spike embedded in its neck had nearly pierced its breathing organ.
Red Dragon Yayin endured the pain, beating its wings as it burst out of the mist. It then saw the fleeing back of Bronze Dragon Fabrio.
"Don't chase him, Yayin."
"That is the target the lord has taken an interest in. There's little point in pursuing him."
"Let him off this time!"
Pantheon stopped Yayin from giving chase. He thrust his dragon spear forward and easily drove it into the ice spike lodged in Yayin's neck.
