At the Magic Pattern Attachment Center, the surviving demon Chai Jin lay on a bed surrounded by IV stands.

Countless needles had been inserted into Chai Jin's body, infusing the potions from the bottles into him.

The bottles were all filled with a pale-blue potion. It was a Demon Cleansing Potion made from troll blood and several special materials.

Sang Shuang had only just woken up. Dragging her still-wounded body along, she worked with Ahuai and the elven healer to cure the abnormalities in Chai Jin's body.

After waking, Sang Shuang had urgently asked Ahuai to bring her to Chai Jin's side.

After seeing Chai Jin's miserable condition, Ahuai's heart filled with self-reproach and guilt.

If she had followed Ahuai's advice back then and persuaded Chai Jin to stop this taboo experiment, Chai Jin would not have ended up like this.

However, it was too late for regrets. The most important thing now was figuring out how to restore Chai Jin to his original state.

With Yuri controlling him, Chai Jin had completely lost the ability to move and had fallen into a coma.

After examining Chai Jin, Sang Shuang and Ahuai discovered that the situation was grim. Chai Jin could no longer be called human.

The flesh, skin, and even bones throughout his body had undergone massive changes, transforming into a tissue structure resembling that of a half-dragon. Even some of his internal organs had mutated, leaving his bodily structure vastly different from that of a human.

The only consolation was that, with Yuri's protection, Chai Jin's brain and some of his nerves had not yet been assimilated by the half-dragon genes.
