Wrath of Thunder Kratos kicked down one of the sub-forts in Danmo Territory's castle. He then condensed a lightning spear in his hand and hurled it toward the church.

At the same time, a shield condensed from the Power of Faith appeared outside the church. Upon colliding with the lightning spear, the two canceled each other out.

Two ten-meter-tall creations of the Power of Faith—the False Angels—also flew out from above the church, waving their spears as they charged at Wrath of Thunder Kratos.

Disdain flickered in Kratos's eyes. Although Thunder Sky Sunlight had already dispersed, its lightning power could still be enhanced by Scalar Amplification.

Under Kratos's control, two bolts of lightning slithered toward the False Angels like swimming snakes. Midway there, they spread out like plant roots, enveloping both False Angels.

One False Angel raised a hand and spread open a shield of holy light, intending to intercept the dense lightning while covering the other False Angel's attack on Kratos.

However, the instant the lightning touched the shield, the seemingly thick shield of holy light turned to dust amid the sudden burst of lightning.

The lightning that followed quickly coiled around the False Angel, as the Power of Faith and elemental energy tore and tangled against each other.

Cracks appeared across the False Angel's body, from which pure white light burst forth.

A moment later, the False Angel exploded with a boom. The berserk energy formed a powerful shock wave that flattened hundreds of square meters below.

As creations of the Power of Faith, the False Angels did not possess humanlike emotions like heroic spirits and true angels.

The False Angel that exploded and died beneath the lightning did not affect the other False Angel wielding a spear in the slightest.
