End-of-Volume Notes

I'm at home, completely wiped out. Thank you, everyone.

Thank you for the Monthly tickets, and thank you for the tips. I'm already useless—dizzy, seeing stars, drooling, with an aching back, sore legs, and cramps.

But I'm happy.

Being able to write makes me happy. The more I write, the happier I am. And if someone likes it, that makes me even happier.

If I can't write, then I'm not happy...

Like right now. Blah blah, my mind has gone completely blank. Aside from the basic framework for the next volume, I can't think of a single detail or piece of content.

Maybe that last shred of fighting spirit has finally burned out, leaving behind nothing but not-quite-white ash.

After dieting for so long, I wanted to indulge a little. Instead, I was brutalized by KFC's intangible-cultural-heritage steamed dumplings and a trendy restaurant's pre-made grilled fish. They nearly carried me away on a stretcher.

I should've just gone for hot pot... but I couldn't have eaten that either. I'd been eating bland food for too long—even Sichuan mild spice was almost too much for me now...

How embarrassing.

Please allow me to cry for a while, lie down for a while, embarrass myself for a while, slack off for a while, coast for a while, and rest for a little while longer...

In short, just for a while.

Sorry, I'm taking a day off. I'm truly sorry, and thank you, everyone.

I'll go sort out and revise the outline again, then I'll be right back.

I'll do my best to write more, and to make both myself and everyone happier.
