The Terrifying Ancient Existence

Yun Ye summoned the Dao Artifact.

On the Tomorrow Sword, the Moon Reflection Treasure Ring spun, bursting with dazzling light that poured directly into the lake, evaporating it while also drawing it in.

"Activate the grand array!"

Yue Xin issued the order while also gripping the core of the array—a jeweled orb.

A vast divine sense surged into the orb, shaking space. The array for position-locking activated, and wave after wave of destruction rolled toward Yun Ye.

Yun Ye himself was protected by the Empty Spirit Law and was not afraid of these waves. However, the earth and air around him were being distorted, displaying countless cracks amid the fluctuations.

Within those cracks, a strange aura flashed past.

"It seems... I'm about to catch it!"

The thought flashed through Yun Ye's mind. The Dao Sword in his hand bloomed with even more magnificent light, while the Moon Reflection Treasure Ring spun to its limit. Golden, scorching sunlight completely enveloped the sword. He vaguely sensed that something was opening within that light, so Yun Ye swung his sword without hesitation, following that feeling.

Boom!

A golden pillar of light shot into the sky, as though the heavens and earth had been torn apart, revealing a crack. It was extraordinarily magnificent!

Yun Ye was astonished. He had swung his sword forward, yet the attack seemed to have struck some barrier here, with its power forcibly redirected into the sky!

"There's something in the sky!"

Yun Ye keenly sensed something. His pupils transformed into three colors as he looked toward the horizon. The vision of these eyes pierced through distance, through the searing pillar of light, and through the clouds, directly seeing the source of everything.

It was a gate that flickered in and out of existence within space!
