Just as Xu Gesen had guessed, after the gnoll priests held their hunting sacrifice, their brutal god generously bestowed the Blessing of the Hunt.
For a god who had yet to awaken, granting such a massive amount of divine power was exceedingly rare. It also proved that the Bonechewer Clan's conquest of the Genoa Peninsula had given the Lord of the Hunt far more divine power to spend.
The Blessing of the Hunt it bestowed was also quite potent. It let the already swift hunters move about without a sound, and granted them an almost permanent version of Danger Sense. The gnolls could now spot dangerous things with their naked eyes, as long as they were within sight.
The ability might not sound especially powerful, but in the swamp's current conditions, having eyes like these would undoubtedly greatly improve the gnoll vanguard's survival rate.
