"Do you mean I'll die in the pursuit five years from now?"

The New King's voice rang out, carrying a hint of tension.

"Yes. You'll die on the spot, just like the previous God King, after that spear pierces you," the Golden Flame God replied.

Silence fell over God's Throne.

"That is not a pleasant end," the God of Frost and Cold murmured.

Though the coronation ceremony had yet to be formally held, this god was destined to become the God King. He therefore had the right to represent the entire God Race and speak with an emissary from the future.

The Golden Flame God and the Light-Shape Being stood on the steps below the throne, watching the new God King.

The gods stood in two rows on either side of the steps, silently listening to their conversation.

The identities of the Golden Flame God and the Light-Shape Being had been verified. They really had come from the future.

The news they had brought was credible.

From that moment on, those exceptionally powerful gods abandoned all thoughts of contending for the position of God King.
