The God King's Resentment

The God King Palace stood in Heaven Beyond Heaven, in the Original Heaven Realm.

Heaven Beyond Heaven was the abode of all the gods.

Each god had a palace of their own, and the height of its location in Heaven Beyond Heaven served to proclaim their status.

The God King Palace stood at the very highest point of Heaven Beyond Heaven.

The Human Race knew nothing of this.

Only the gods understood it without a word, each knowing their rank among the others.

On the eve of the coronation.

The God of Frost and Cold did not sit upon the Throne of Gods.

He stood atop the God King Palace, silently gazing down at all of Heaven Beyond Heaven below, and even the entire Original Heaven Realm.

—This was the highest point in the entire Original Heaven Realm.

Two gods flew up and hovered below and to the side of the God King.

They reported, "Your Majesty, the Human Race has sent an envoy to inquire about the arrangements following the great battle."

Having long known everything that would happen in the future, the matter was child's play for the God King.

The God King fell silent for a moment, then ordered, "Every Human Race sect must select its most promising disciples and send them to the divine palaces to cultivate, so they can improve their combat abilities."
