Following Berno Light, the group passed through a relatively quiet corridor along the side of the main hall and arrived at a temporary area behind the racetrack.

"Here we are." Berno Light stopped, turned around, and introduced the place gently. "The conditions are a little limited, but it's more than enough for a Warm-up and getting a feel for things."

This appeared to be part of the track's usual training grounds. For this carnival event, a section had been specially set aside with simple railings and markers, serving as a pre-race warm-up area for the competing Horse Girls.

The facilities looked fairly basic, but the ground was level and the view open. They could clearly see the outline of the official track not far away.
