Almond Eye listened to Kitasan Black, and the confusion in her eyes quickly gave way to brightness as realization dawned on her.

"I understand!"

She exclaimed, sounding as though a fog had suddenly been lifted.

"Senior Oguri Cap's acceleration is like—like when you suddenly sprinted during Slope Training last time, Senior Little Kita?

"Senior Super Little Bay is like how it felt after we finished three thousand meters, when the Trainer had us accelerate for the final four hundred?

"Senior Inari One—it's like during every practice race, when you suddenly burst forward on the final straight and passed me, Senior Little Kita?

"So what I need to do is unleash all those feelings completely during the race! Right?!"

"Yes, yes, yes! Exactly!"

Kitasan Black nodded repeatedly, an excited smile spreading across her face as if to say, "You finally get it."

Then, as though seeking final confirmation, she looked expectantly at Anjing Zhen.

"A-Zhen, Almond Eye—she understood it correctly, right?"

Anjing Zhen watched the scene, his eyes filled with undisguised surprise.

He could clearly tell that Almond Eye had not only understood Kitasan Black's analogy, but had precisely matched it to specific situations from their usual training—and she was completely right. From a data standpoint, the scenarios Almond Eye had mentioned happened to correspond exactly to the ideal conditions he had considered.

Yet this was something that had never appeared in Kitasan Black.

Kitasan Black was tremendously talented, but early on, when it came to tactical concepts requiring subtle personal understanding, if she lacked corresponding race experience, he often had to explain them repeatedly through all kinds of examples.
