War Son of Heaven's shout had barely faded when the clouds overhead gathered at their thickest. Suddenly, lightning flashed with a crack of thunder, bursting into dazzling light.

The light faded, and the clouds vanished. That wondrous space disappeared without a trace.

In its place, a fearsome figure slowly descended from the sky.

The first thing that struck everyone about the fearsome figure was its size—unparalleled, immense beyond measure.

More than ten zhang long, it rivaled a colossal python. Over three zhang thick, it was like a sturdy city wall. Standing more than eight zhang tall, it towered like a mountain.

Such a terrifying bulk descended from above, truly like a mountain crashing down upon them.

Beyond the shock of its immense form, the giant beast had a blazing-red coral horn on its head. Its body was a deep blue-green, its smooth skin gleaming coldly like gold and iron. Its pair of enormous scarlet eyes surveyed all beneath heaven, radiating a dreadful pressure.

The beast's four pillar-like hooves released not a trace of energy, yet it seemed born with the ability to ride the clouds and soar through the air. Now and then, arcs of electricity glimmered across the enormous coral horn atop its head.

Zhou Daogan couldn't help rubbing his eyes furiously, while Xue Muhua trembled from head to toe.

Compared with the others in the hall, these two had seen the mountain-sized beast before—but they had encountered a shrunken version.
