Bright Holy Domain.
Of the Six Domains, this one was exceptionally unique. By unique, I mean it was vastly different from the others. The Mysterious Ice Domain was bitterly cold, the Netherworld Domain rang with eerie ghostly wails, and the Purgatory Domain was engulfed in raging flames. Each of these places had an extremely harsh environment.
The Light Domain, by contrast, had a mild climate and scenery as beautiful as a painting. Most of it was a paradise, perfectly suited to the flourishing of all life. That alone was enough to show how formidable the Bright Holy Domain was. Such a wonderful place had never been conquered, which was proof enough that the Winged God Clan was not to be trifled with.
Of course, it was also possible that races from extreme environments simply did not care for such a mild climate. Take the Purgatory Devil Race, for instance. They were perfectly happy living amid scorching magma and flames, and loved to roll around in the lava or take a dip whenever they felt like it. Sending them to the Bright Holy Domain would only leave them uncomfortable.
That was all beside the point, so let's leave it there for now.
In ancient times—no, in times far more ancient than that—the Bright Holy Domain had been one enormous floating continent. By some mystery of the Heaven and Earth Universe, that floating continent revolved eternally around three suns. The strange thing was that it was always daytime there, with no night ever falling, as though it had been blessed by the gods and favored by the universe, forever basking in radiant light.
