It had vanished. What enraged the King of Dawn most was that after that army dared attack Sky City, rampaged through and destroyed one Sky City, and captured his younger brother Hirus, it had vanished completely from the Dawn Continent.

In its place, rebellions had spread through the nations and regions of the Dawn Continent. All kinds of heretical groups that had been wiped out began rising from the ashes, spreading all manner of wicked rumors about the Winged God Clan in every city and region. They exposed the Winged People as nothing more than an ordinary, scarce race that acted high and mighty, treating humans as slaves lower than pigs and dogs.

Most of the claims were exaggerated, but their essence was hard to dispute.

In a fury, the King of Dawn immediately ordered the Sky Cities across the land to command the various nations to wipe out the heretics. This time, however, there were far more heretics than usual, and they were far more stubborn. Unlike before, this outbreak of heresy had powerful backing. The troops sent to pass judgment on the rebels and exterminate them met fierce resistance at every turn.

At the same time, Yi Kong burst onto the scene, raising the banner of revenge and liberation across the Dawn Continent. He vowed to overthrow the King of Dawn's evil dynasty, and many heretical forces answered his call.
