There was no way it could be true.

Who in the world could control their captain? Sure, their captain might not be able to beat Gild Tesoro, but he was still a powerhouse at the very top. Even Kaido and Whitebeard couldn't get the better of him.

Blackbeard pulled his nails out of his flesh and laughed dismissively.

His expression was nothing but contemptuous and mocking.

Some of them laughed along, though nobody knew what they were really thinking.
