A few minutes earlier.
The battle inside Gold City was still raging.
Bullet had clashed with White White Sea, while Katakuri and the others held off Gold City's Homies, giving Marco and the others a chance to leave.
The other factions were still watching from the sidelines.
"Captain, should we leave?"
Among the Blackbeard Pirates, Lafitte used Observation Haki to watch the battle between Gild Tesoro and Whitebeard. His face was full of worry; he felt Whitebeard wouldn't last much longer.
After all, Golden Lion had only recently been killed.
Even if Whitebeard was stronger than Golden Lion, he couldn't be that much stronger.
No matter how you looked at it, he wouldn't be a match for Gild Tesoro.
"Zehahaha~"
Blackbeard himself wasn't feeling particularly confident. Although they had temporarily allied with the Beasts Pirates, it wasn't much use. If Gild Tesoro hadn't come back to life, crushing the Richest Group wouldn't have been a problem.
But the crucial point was that Gild Tesoro had revived—and grown incomparably powerful.
Even someone like Golden Lion had been killed with ease. He asked himself honestly: even if he wasn't much weaker than Golden Lion, he certainly couldn't have killed him so easily.
By comparison, the gap between him and Gild Tesoro was clear.
More importantly, there were Enel and the other officers seated on the golden platform, along with the Homies that couldn't be ignored.
They might seem harmless now, but once they started fighting, they wouldn't be outmatched by anyone present. Zeus and Prometheus were the best examples.
In other words,
the Richest Group's top fighters weren't just Enel, Tsar, and the other officers. Those Homies were also formidable combatants.
If they were people, the Richest Group would actually have a massive lineup.
"I'm afraid it won't be easy to leave."
