The Soothing Hand

Kisaragi Chie had just been freed, but she didn't seem to hold much against her younger sister. Her worry was genuine.

"No problem. I'll find them as soon as I can."

Hayami Suzune had finally recovered from the shock of the earlier revelations and readily agreed.

It seemed that, after spending this time together, she and Kisaragi Chie had gotten along fairly well.

But after agreeing, she soon realized there was a problem.

"So, do you know where they went?"

"No."

Kisaragi Chie shook her head decisively.

"When they left, I didn't hear them mention an address or anything."

"Do you know where they usually go?"

"The places they go on dates... This is the only one I've ever been to."

Kisaragi Chie sighed silently.

"That could be a bit of a problem. We'll have to rule places out one by one... We might need to use the police system to find them."

Hayami Suzune frowned deeply.

"But look on the bright side. We haven't heard about any serious incidents since last night, which means Kanna Kisaragi is probably still safe. You don't need to worry too much."

After comforting Kisaragi Chie, Hayami Suzune spotted Fu Qian standing in the corner, deep in thought, and couldn't resist taunting him.

"Isn't Mr. Dancy good at tracking down his prey? Why not see where they went?"

She wished she could be rid of this man as soon as possible, even if his malicious intentions had happened to lead him to rescue Kisaragi Chie in time this time.

"Sure."

To her surprise, Fu Qian agreed without hesitation.

"You know where they went?"

Hayami Suzune was startled.

"Was all this your doing?"

Clearly, her experience dealing with Fu Qian had made her suspicious of everything.
