The Kinkou Order could not kill. Its lofty status was built entirely on being an order devoted to maintaining the balance between the two realms. Everything it did was to maintain balance in Ionia and protect the people of Ionia from demons in the spirit realm.

That was why the Kinkou Order had to exist.

When Zed eventually came to the Kinkou Order seeking power, he had brought ruin upon Kusuo.
