Background / History

Rias and Luxanna Crownguard arrive from separate worlds through orbs of light after the blood moon. She immediately investigates their summoning, notices the uniform nature of the nearby corpses, and tries unsuccessfully to invoke her magic. Though wary of Li Ke and the others, she joins them to learn the world's rules and find a way home. 30 31

Initially, Rias acts with the pride expected of a Gremory heiress. She dismisses the idea of mining and is cautious around Tsunade after sensing that Tsunade could kill her with ease. Despite this, she protects Lux during the zombie-bird crisis and seeks to resolve dangers caused by her own presence rather than abandoning the group. 32 36 38

After recovering Magic Power, Rias discovers that the world's stat system and unusually efficient training conditions can rapidly strengthen both her body and magic. Rather than leaving at once, she remains to research magic, train, and exchange magical knowledge, tomes, and wealth for Li Ke's companionship and assistance. 42 67 68
