Background

Arrival in the Human World

Gu Yuena entered the human world to investigate the person favored by the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King. To infiltrate Spirit Hall, she used the name Na'er, formed by removing “Gu Yue” from her own name and adding a diminutive suffix. Ning Rongrong brought her into the Spirit Hall Sacred Hall, where Na'er chose to remain rather than leave with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect delegation 149 152.

Na'er joined Spirit Hall claiming that she wanted strength, revenge, and freedom from being bullied. Ji Wushuang was suspicious of her motives, particularly after recognizing the implications of her Silver Dragon Spear and four Ten Thousand-Year Spirit Rings, but still permitted her to stay 150 151 152.

Although she initially presented herself as an orphan without a home, Na'er displayed an unusual contrast between her mature appearance and childlike habits, particularly her enthusiasm for food and unfamiliarity with human customs 153 154.

Connection to the Dragon Kings

The Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King recognized Na'er and determined that her soul was incomplete due to the Silver Dragon King's severe injuries. They asked Ji Wushuang to eventually bring her to the resting place of the Dragon Race, where their residual power could help repair her 154 155.

During this period, Na'er alternated between an innocent, dependent demeanor and the imposing bearing of the Silver Dragon King. Ji Wushuang remained uncertain whether she was a separate individual or another consciousness sharing Gu Yuena's body 154 194.

Independence and Spirit Hall Training

After Ji Wushuang's three-year absence, Na'er remained at Spirit Hall Academy and grew into a five-ring Soul King. She defeated Yan with overwhelming force and confronted Ji Wushuang for leaving her without companionship 194.

Gu Yuena later separated Na'er completely, leaving her as an independent human-emotions split body. Na'er sought Ji Wushuang because she regarded him as her only friend in the human world 208. Bibi Dong subsequently accepted her as her third disciple after Na'er revealed Level 61 Soul Power and the Silver Dragon Spear 210.

Na'er lived with Hu Liena, developing a friendly rivalry with her. The two later trained and undertook Sea God Island's trials together 209 223 344.

Sea God Island and the Dragon Tomb

Na'er received red-level eight Sea God trials and completed the Sea God's Light and Ring Sea trials alongside Hu Liena. Her teamwork with Hu Liena became crucial during their fight against Xiao Bai, where Na'er used the Silver Dragon Spear and surging spatial elements to break through the Ring Sea's defenses 284 344 345.

After becoming a Titled Douluo, Na'er entered the Dragon Tomb with Ji Wushuang. Her bloodline awakened the Nine Dragon Kings, and she requested their aid in becoming a new Dragon God capable of restoring the Dragon Race 360 361.

The Light Dragon King, Dark Dragon King, and Mountain Dragon King transferred their remaining power to Na'er and gave her Spirit Bones. Na'er later retrieved the Dragon God's Core and learned Ji Wushuang's Object Control Technique while helping bury the Dragon Race's remains 361 362.

Dragon Race Legacy

Na'er left Spirit City to search for the Dragon Slaying Saber, an ancient Dragon Race divine artifact. After a year, she returned with the saber and the Dragon God's Heart, declaring herself the strongest member of the Dragon Race 372.

Her reunion with Gu Yuena was tense. Gu Yuena asserted that she remained the dominant half of their shared origin, while Na'er rejected that claim and insisted on her own identity 372 377.

When Ji Wushuang faced his final lightning tribulation, Na'er transformed into the Silver Dragon King and intercepted the attack. She saved him at the cost of catastrophic injuries that neither Ji Wushuang nor the Dragon Kings could initially heal 382.

Na'er later awakened in the Lake of Life after inheriting the Life Goddess's divine position. The inheritance restored her body and soul while replenishing the lake's life force 387.
