The Light of Bifrost

"What the hell?!" Hearing Ebony Maw reveal Thanos's ultimate wish left Robet stunned for a moment. He had seen plenty of villains, but normally speaking, a villain's wish was either to eliminate some enemy, become immortal, or rule the world. This ultimate wish of reducing life in the universe by half truly baffled Robet.

And it was not just Robet who was stunned. Even Thor and the others beside him snapped out of the shock of Robet's torture methods and stared at Ebony Maw in disbelief.

Thor also felt that Thanos's ultimate wish was far too unrealistic. After all, while life-bearing planets in the universe were fewer than lifeless ones, life itself was still as countless as the stars. Wanting to wipe out half of all life sounded utterly impossible...

"Eliminate half of life? How does he plan to do that? Gather the Infinity Stones, obtain immense power, then find life-bearing planets one by one and kill half while leaving half alive?" Robet came back to himself, looked at Ebony Maw, frowned, and said.

"Never mind how vast and boundless the universe is. Just with so many planets out there, is he really sure he can find every single planet with life on it? And how does he decide who lives and who dies? Most importantly, what if the number of living beings in the universe is odd? Chop one in half and save the other half?"

"We have experienced all the things you are talking about many times already. Or rather, it is precisely because we encountered all kinds of problems, and with our strength we had no way or ability to handle every situation properly, that Thanos thought of gathering the six Infinity Stones and directly using their power to complete this final wish..."
