On a dim planet that seemed to have no star shining on it, the aged Peggy Carter and young Brian lay unconscious on the ground, utterly motionless.
Their positions might have been enough to reconstruct what had happened at the time. Peggy Carter had held Brian tightly against the inside of her body, her back turned toward another direction, as if she had been resisting something. But there were no signs of life around Peggy Carter at all, making it impossible to tell what they had encountered.
Not long after Peggy Carter fell unconscious, Steve appeared on this planet as well and found her. When he saw Peggy Carter collapsed on the ground, Steve rushed over at once. After picking her up, he warily scanned the area around her, but he found nothing either.
We can't stay here long! The thought flashed through Steve's mind. This kind of supernatural incident was still far too dangerous for a Super Soldier like him, so the urge to retreat rose in his heart. He prepared to leave this place as quickly as possible.
Even if there was no way to return directly to Earth, he had to slowly explore his way back along the route he had taken, rather than foolishly wait here. This damned place looked dangerous at a glance, especially since Peggy Carter and Brian had both inexplicably passed out. That made Steve feel certain the surroundings were full of danger!
This was no place to linger!
With that thought in mind, Steve quickly carried one in his arms and the other on his back, taking Peggy Carter and Brian away from this place. Yet after Steve disappeared, nothing unusual appeared here either, as if Steve's worries had been nothing more than needless anxiety.
