"Erlang! Erlang!"
In the sky, Yang Tianyou's shout pierced through the Demonic Qi and echoed.
Yang Erlang turned his face aside, pretending to study the patterns in the cracked earth beneath his feet.
"Yang Erlang! You hear that? Your father's calling you!"
Beside him, an old soldier jabbed him with an elbow.
"Whose father? Who's called Yang Erlang?" Yang Erlang kept playing dead, wishing he could dig a hole and crawl into it.

Yang Tianyou saw it clearly from the sky. Seeing his son pretend not to know him, he chuckled, cleared his throat, and his voice shook the entire field:
"Yang Erlang, you don't acknowledge your father anymore?"
"When you wet the bed at three, you insisted it was the cat from Er Gouzi's house next door."
"When you climbed a tree at five to raid a bird's nest and got stuck in the fork, you cried until snot bubbles came out."
"When you stole your Mother's rouge at seven and smeared it on your face, saying you were going to perform grand opera."
"Dad, stop talking! I acknowledge you, all right?"
Yang Erlang could no longer hold it in. Under the twisted gazes of his colleagues around him, all choking back laughter, he squeezed out a plea for mercy through gritted teeth.
Only then did Yang Tianyou nod in satisfaction, then turned to look at the pitch-black system light cluster opposite them that radiated quasi-Saint pressure.
He weighed the ancient, plain card in his hand, then looked at the system watching like a tiger eyeing its prey.
"We're already in a Journey to the West setting, so it wouldn't be too much for me to directly summon Patriarch Bodhi, right?"
Though he was not sure whether this card could accurately lock onto someone across worldviews,
