Yunzhou’s cultivation world was once led by ten transcendent powers, each supported by Myriad Transformations Realm Dao Venerables. The Five Elements Holy Sect stood above the rest as its sole sacred land for ten thousand years. 1144

Former Sacred Land

The Five Elements Holy Sect was established in Yunzhou by a branch of the Ancient Five Elements Sect that fled Yuzhou after a great upheaval ten to twenty thousand years earlier. Its inheritance later declined and portions of its ancient records were erased before the sect was destroyed. 1267

History

Ancient Upheavals

The Ancient Five Elements Sect originally existed in Yuzhou. Following a world-changing disaster ten to twenty thousand years ago, one branch migrated to Yunzhou and established the Five Elements Holy Sect. 1267

Around five to six thousand years ago, the Blood Demon Sect rose to prominence and attacked the Five Elements Holy Sect. Both powers suffered severe losses: the Blood Demon Sect withdrew beyond the domain, while the Five Elements Holy Sect sealed its gate after losing a key treasure. Their retreat destabilized Yunzhou and began a chaotic age in which numerous powerful cultivators emerged. 1153

Rise of Zhang Qingyuan

Zhang Qingyuan arrived in Yunzhou before reaching the Cave True Law Domain Realm, then advanced to the Myriad Transformations Realm in less than a century—an ascent regarded as unprecedented by Yunzhou cultivators. 1163

His breakthrough battle in the Qingyang Monster Beast Mountain Range transformed Yunzhou’s balance of power. He withstood a three-against-one assault, advanced during combat, and killed three Myriad Transformations Realm cultivators. 1140

The later conflict at the Wuxuan Sect ruins intensified the upheaval. Zhang Qingyuan fought a coalition of twelve Myriad Transformations Realm cultivators, while reports credited his final sword strike with killing eight and forcing the Five Elements Holy Sect’s Founding Ancestor to retreat. 1198 1199

Fall of the Five Elements Holy Sect

After Yunzhou’s righteous powers suffered repeated losses, the Outer Domain demonic sects launched a large-scale offensive across the continent. The resulting Mo Calamity spread war, blood sacrifices, and plunder through multiple regions. 1167 1203

The Five Elements Holy Sect was ultimately destroyed when four Myriad Transformations Realm black-armored figures—later identified as corpse-refining puppet clones controlled by Zhang Qingyuan—attacked and devastated its sect gate. 1232 1233

Its collapse ended Yunzhou’s old order and left cultivators across the Nine Continents Continent shocked by the loss of a sacred land that had endured for ten thousand years. 1233
