The Combat Strength of the Elemental Spirits

In the void beyond Fengze Star, the Star Chart appeared. A steady stream of starlight poured into the Spaceport, making the light it cast down grow ever brighter.

Across the star, the vortexes through which the four Elemental Spirits devoured Elemental Power gradually struggled to withstand the starlight's assault. Cracks began to spread through them.

Then a thunderous rumble shook the land, growing louder by the moment. Tremors surged up from deep underground. The earth quaked, mountains and rivers split apart, and vast amounts of spiritual energy began leaking from the fractured ground. The four Elemental Spirits devoured it without pause, channeling it into their vortexes to strengthen them against the starlight raining down from the Spaceport.

"Not good! The Spirit Vein!" Jiang Ting's expression shifted as she stared in disbelief. "The Star Spirit Veins are all protected by formations. How can these Elemental Spirits reach them?"

Though doubts filled her mind, Jiang Ting did not hesitate. She raised a hand and tapped the Spaceport's control screen. Another beam of starlight shot down, but it did not target the Elemental Spirit Crystals. Instead, it plunged straight beneath Fengze Star's surface.

In the next moment, rays of spiritual light flared up across Fengze Star, linking together to form an array. Half of it suppressed the Star Spirit Vein, while the other half attacked the four Elemental Spirits.

Even so, Liang Ji could see that the four Elemental Spirits had already gained a foothold on Fengze Star. They were directly drawing upon the power of its Star Spirit Vein, using the Spirit Vein's territory and the formations there to resist the starlight.
